Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Chef to join our team at HR-CL Limited in Gloucester. As a Daytime Hours Culinary Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to order, supporting the planning of new seasonal menu items, and maintaining stock levels and communicating with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a range of dishes to order, including brunch and lunch menu items
  • Support the planning and development of new seasonal menu items, working closely with the kitchen team to ensure high-quality dishes
  • Maintain accurate stock levels, communicate with suppliers, and place orders as needed
  • Keep accurate records of fridge temperatures, cleaning schedules, and waste management

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year's experience in a similar role or environment, with some cooking experience
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to work in a customer-facing kitchen environment
  • Ability to work as part of a small, friendly team, with a positive attitude and ambition to succeed
