Sous Chef Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team at the Gloucester Robinswood Hotel, Signature Collection By Best Western.

About the Role

As a Sous Chef, you will play a vital role in the success of our hotel's culinary operations, working closely with our Head Chef to deliver exceptional menus for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef, overseeing food preparation and ensuring that all dishes are of the highest quality, cooked to perfection, and presented beautifully.
  • Work closely with the Head Chef to implement standard recipes, maintain food costs, and lead a high-volume kitchen team.
  • Have a proven track record of leading a kitchen team and managing a high-volume operation, as well as a deep understanding of food safety and health and safety regulations.
  • Be responsible for menu planning, cost control, and ordering supplies, while maintaining high-quality standards and working well under pressure.
