Job Title: Sous Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our menu is prepared to the highest standards and that our customers receive an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards and that the kitchen is run efficiently.
  • Support the Head Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence.
  • Develop and implement training programs for kitchen staff, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively.
  • Monitor and control kitchen costs, ensuring that we are operating within budget.
  • Ensure that all kitchen staff are aware of and adhere to health and safety procedures and food safety standards.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a deep understanding of Mediterranean cuisine and cooking techniques.
  • Ability to work under pressure, managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on quality and presentation.
  • Basic IT skills, with the ability to use kitchen management software and other technology systems.
