About the Role:

Maxar is seeking a skilled Imagery Support Specialist to provide exceptional customer support for our external clients. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring quality and performance delivery standards, developing internal and external client relationships, and driving proactive service and support mechanisms to reduce client downtime and costs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide top-notch customer support to internal and external clients
  • Collaborate with technical support, product development, sales, and field services to identify opportunities for delivery improvements, cost reduction, and value-added services
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Utilize knowledge of company policies and procedures to provide accurate and timely support
  • Apply expertise in satellite imagery to perform quality control evaluations and recommendations
  • Participate in training and development courses to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Effectively communicate with all levels of the company and clients
  • Contribute to the development of internal and external client relationships

Requirements:

  • Degree or 2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in a professional or B2B setting
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Requirements:

  • Degree in Geography, GIS, Communications, Sciences, or similar
  • Previous exposure to GIS applications and technologies, e.g., Esri ArcGIS, ArcPro, QGIS
  • Effective problem-solving and analytical abilities

Salary Range: £30,000.00 - £30,300.00 GBP annually
