We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive individual with expertise in ocean freight to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, carriers, and suppliers to negotiate and confirm rates effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive customer quotations and negotiate rates with carriers and suppliers to maximize cost-effectiveness.
  • Prepare and submit customer quotations and proposals within agreed timeframes.
  • Work within our in-house system to create and issue quotations.
  • Communicate with customers to manage and follow up on all quotes to obtain feedback and measure success.
  • Track success/failure rates of quotes and report back to management.
  • Develop and build relationships with customers to provide the highest level of customer service.
  • Monitor carrier websites and notifications to stay up-to-date on industry developments.
