Job Title: Clinical Team Lead

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Clinical Team Lead to join our team at Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Team Lead, you will be responsible for managing the care pathway for young people at The Darwin Centre from referral to discharge.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure effective communication with families, referrers, and external agencies
  • Manage commissioning arrangements, bed management, and case load management for the team
  • Have overall management responsibility for the delivery of care within the unit, in accordance with Trust policies and procedures
  • Lead a team of clinical staff in the delivery of high-quality evidence-based practice
  • Ensure that all children and families have high-quality comprehensive and collaborative care plans
  • Oversee and support the team's management of clinical risk
  • Support the clinical team to create accurate documents of their observations and assessments
  • Ensure that systems that operate for staff support and supervision are maintained
Requirements:
  • Professional qualification in Nursing
  • Current registration with the NMC
  • Post-graduate qualification or significant experience related to child, adolescent, or family mental health
  • Training in supervision
  • Physical intervention training
  • Experience of working in an intensive service with children and/or families
  • Good understanding and experience in delivering clinical and management supervision
  • Experience and understanding of performance management
  • Experience, knowledge, and training in management and leadership
  • Comprehensive understanding of the MHA, children's Act, and safeguarding
  • Experience, knowledge, and training in policy and service development
