About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics (PKPD) expert to join our team at Lifelancer. As a Senior Director of Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics, you will play a critical role in driving our non-clinical PKPD strategy and supporting projects from early discovery through to clinic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Drive Non-Clinical PKPD Strategy: Lead the development and implementation of non-clinical PKPD strategies for projects, ensuring effective communication and translation of in vitro data and in vivo non-clinical studies to prediction of efficacy and safety in patients.
  • Ensure Translation and Collaboration: Initiate and engage in multifunctional collaborations to facilitate the advancement of drug candidates, build a thorough knowledge of drug pharmacology and PKPD, and provide scientific and technical input expertise and leadership to Nonclinical PKPD group project teams and the department.
  • Build PKPD Models and Provide Expertise: Develop and apply PKPD models to allow hypothesis testing and inform decision-making, providing scientific and technical input expertise and leadership to Nonclinical PKPD group project teams and the department.
  • Represent the Interests of Lifelancer: Represent the interests of Lifelancer internally and externally in matters relevant to mechanistic PKPD and contribute to enhancing the scientific reputation of NonClinical PKPD.
  • Contribute to Regulatory Submissions: Provide required support and input into regulatory study protocols, reports, and summaries, and regulatory submission documents.
Requirements
  • PhD in Relevant Discipline: Hold a PhD in a relevant discipline, such as pharmacology, bioengineering, pharmacokinetics, or pharmacodynamics.
  • Expertise in PKPD Methods: Have expertise and proven application of PKPD methods and concepts in support of drug discovery and development, including systems modeling experience.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Demonstrate leadership skills in a matrix environment, capable of working effectively in teams and influencing relevant stakeholders, with good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in PKPD: Have demonstrated experience in developing and executing effective non-clinical PKPD strategies from early discovery through to clinic.
  • Record of Publications: Have a record of publications and other external scientific contributions relevant to PKPD.
  • Experience with Modeling and Simulation Packages: Have experience in using modeling and simulation packages such as Phoenix, Berkeley, Madonna, Monolix R.
