About the Role

You will be an integral part of the team to drive strategy and support projects by exploring pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic relationships in pre-clinical models to help understand the dose and schedule requirements for therapeutic interventions.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and Drive Nonclinical PKPD Strategy

Develop and drive the nonclinical pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic (PKPD) strategy for projects, ensuring effective communication and implementation.

Translate In Vitro and In Vivo Data

Ensure translation from in vitro data and in vivo nonclinical studies to prediction of efficacy and safety in patients.

Collaborate with Multifunctional Teams

Initiate and engage in multifunctional collaborations to facilitate the advancement of drug candidates and build a thorough knowledge of drug pharmacology and PKPD, leading to quantitative translation to the clinic.

Build PKPD Models

Build pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic models to allow hypothesis testing and inform decision-making.

Provide Scientific and Technical Input

Provide scientific and technical input, expertise, and leadership to the Non-clinical PKPD group, project teams, and the department.

Collaborate with External Partners

Work in collaborations with external partners, academic institutions, contract research organizations (CROs), and consultants as required.

Stay Up-to-Date with Emerging Techniques

Maintain an awareness of new/emerging techniques and tools relevant to the field.

Represent QCP Capital Pte. Ltd.

Represent the interests of QCP Capital Pte. Ltd. internally and externally in matters relevant to mechanistic PKPD and contribute to enhancing the scientific reputation of Non-Clinical PKPD.

Support Due Diligence

As required, contribute to due diligence of external project, product, and technology opportunities.

Support Regulatory Submissions

Provide required support and input into regulatory study protocols, reports, and summaries, and regulatory submission documents.

Requirements

  1. PhD in Relevant Discipline

PhD in a relevant discipline (pharmacology, bioengineering, pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics, etc.).

Scientific Expertise and Leadership

Innovative, self-motivated, team-oriented scientist with good written and verbal communication skills, able to handle several projects at any given time, to work successfully in teams and to communicate clearly to a variety of audiences.

Record of Publications

Record of publications and other external scientific contributions relevant to PKPD.
