Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced HR Shared Service Centre Manager to lead the establishment and growth of our newly launched HR Shared Services function in Leeds.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a high-performing HR Shared Services function that aligns with company goals and objectives.
- Oversee a team of 8 HR Coordinators and HR Operations staff, integrating the teams into the HR Shared Services and unifying payroll, pensions, and benefits under your leadership.
- Establish and refine systems, Service Level Agreements, and response times to ensure seamless support across payroll, benefits administration, HR, and pensions.
- Drive continuous improvement and create a cohesive, motivated team environment while enhancing service delivery.
- Collaborate closely with department heads and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for HR Shared Services initiatives.
- Manage employee benefits, including fleet management, and oversee payroll, benefits, and more.
Requirements
- Proven experience in managing an HR or Shared Services function, preferably one that you've helped build or grow from scratch.
- Strong understanding of HR processes, with a focus on payroll, benefits administration, and pensions.
- A skilled people leader adept at navigating team changes and unifying teams through growth periods.
- Experience with setting up and managing HR systems, SLAs, and response protocols.
- Ability to handle sensitive information related to pensions and benefits with discretion and professionalism.
- Experience with Workday is ideal but not essential.
