EdEx – Education Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. This is a full-time, long-term role, working in a modern and inclusive Primary School.

As an Unqualified SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with children with a range of SEN, including Autism/ ASD, ADHD, children with SEMH needs and behavioural difficulties. You will work alongside the Class Teacher, SENCo, and other specialists who will offer their expert advice and guidance.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where every child's learning experience is exciting and accessible for all

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting children with a range of SEN across year groups
  • Working with children with Autism / ASD, ADHD, SEMH and behavioural difficulties
  • Collaborating with the Class Teacher, SENCo, and other specialists to provide individualized support
  • Developing and implementing strategies to promote inclusive education
  • Contributing to a positive and supportive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Graduate with a passion for working with children with SEN
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other specialists
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment
