Unqualified SEN Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Unqualified SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a modern, inclusive Primary School in the Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity starting ASAP.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support children with a range of SEN across year groups, working closely with the Class Teacher, SENCo, and other specialists.
  2. Work with children who have Autism/ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and behavioural difficulties, providing individualized support and guidance.
  3. Contribute to a knowledge-rich curriculum, promoting inclusive learning experiences for all students.
  4. Collaborate with the school community to ensure a supportive and welcoming environment for students with SEN.
Person Specification:
  1. A good degree from a reputable University, demonstrating a strong academic background.
  2. A good understanding of SEN, with experience in a previous role or personal experience with SEN being ideal.
  3. A calm and compassionate nature, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  4. A passion for supporting children with SEN, with a commitment to their learning and well-being.
