SEN Secondary Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Secondary Teaching Assistant to support students with Special Educational Needs in a secondary school setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide classroom support to students with SEN, assisting teachers in implementing individualised education plans.
  • Aid in the development of students' academic and social skills, ensuring they have access to the curriculum and resources.
  • Monitor and record student progress and behaviour, providing valuable insights for teachers and school administrators.
Qualifications and Experience
  • GCSEs in English and Maths are essential for this role.
  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
Preferred Qualifications and Training
  • A Teaching Assistant qualification or additional training in SEN support would be beneficial.
