Job Description

This exciting opportunity has arisen to become a Healthcare Assistant in the Multidisciplinary Assessment Service (MuDAS Unit) at Wycombe Hospital. As part of our BHT family, you will benefit from learning and development opportunities to support your career progression.

Main Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families to promote their comfort and well-being
  • Assist with patient care tasks, such as washing and bathing patients as required
  • Support with manual handling and transferring of patients according to the Trust's Moving and Handling policy
  • Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate in English clearly and concisely with patients, carers, and the multi-disciplinary team
  • Courteous and respectful attitude towards patients and colleagues
  • Ability to write clearly and legibly in English

Estimated Salary: £23,615 per annum
