About the Role

Pertemps Bristol Industrial is looking for a skilled Part-Time Transport Clerk to join their team in Avonmouth, BS11. This role offers a unique opportunity for individuals who value flexibility and are committed to delivering high-quality results.

Key Benefits

The successful candidate can expect:

  • An estimated hourly salary of £12.50, with potential for overtime pay
  • A flexible part-time schedule of 20-30 hours per week, Monday to Thursday (08:30-17:00) and Friday (08:30-16:30)
  • Overtime rates for hours worked beyond basic hours, Saturdays, Sundays, and Bank Holidays
Responsibilities and Requirements

As a Part-Time Transport Clerk, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating transportation activities to ensure timely delivery of goods
  • Processing and managing transportation documentation, such as shipping and receiving records
  • Communicating effectively with drivers, warehouse staff, and other stakeholders to resolve issues or concerns

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Previous experience in logistics or transportation (not required, but advantageous)
