We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in providing high-quality care to young people with eating disorders. As a key member of our multidisciplinary service, you will be responsible for delivering therapy sessions, conducting assessments, and collaborating with the team to ensure optimal outcomes.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To conduct comprehensive assessments of children and adolescents with eating disorders, identifying areas of need and developing targeted intervention plans.
  • To deliver individual and group therapy sessions, incorporating evidence-based practices and occupational therapy techniques to promote recovery and well-being.
  • To work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and support the smooth delivery of services.
  • To engage in quality improvement initiatives, participating in audits and contributing to the development of best practices within the field.
  • To maintain regular communication with professional leads and stakeholders, ensuring effective collaboration and coordination of care.
  • To work closely with families, carers, and other professionals from community CAMHS, social care, and voluntary sectors to provide comprehensive support.

Essential Requirements:

  • A degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration.
  • Previous experience working with children and adolescents, particularly those with mental health concerns.
  • Familiarity with occupational therapy interventions, including individual and group work.
  • A willingness to adapt to changing circumstances and prioritize tasks efficiently.
