About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Area Tenancy Manager to join our Housing Management Service. As an Area Tenancy Manager, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end tenancies for a patch of social tenants or licensees. This will involve developing detailed knowledge across various areas of tenancy management, including voids, lettings, income and arrears, anti-social behaviour (ASB), and providing holistic, person-centred support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the end-to-end tenancies for a patch of social tenants or licensees
  • Develop detailed knowledge across various areas of tenancy management
  • Provide holistic, person-centred support to tenants
  • Work with services across the Council to ensure vulnerable tenants have access to services they need
  • Uphold the guidelines set out by the Social Housing Regulation Act 2023
Requirements

We are looking for resilient individuals who thrive in dynamic environments and are not afraid of hard work. You should have a great sense of humour, team spirit, and strong customer service skills with a focus on empathy and tenant satisfaction. Knowledge of local authority statutory and support services related to housing, awareness of relevant housing legislation and welfare benefits, and excellent organisational and IT skills are essential.
