Job Title: Commercial Partnership Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Partnership Manager to join our Retail Partnerships team at Hastings Direct. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing our relationships with our ancillary suppliers, ensuring we effectively manage commercial and contractual relations and customer outcomes to drive long-standing, mutually beneficial partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the relationship with our ancillary partners, ensuring effective commercial and contractual relations and customer outcomes.
  • Develop and implement Ancillary Product development strategies to support the commercial performance of our Core proposition.
  • Lead on the development of and delivery to budgets for these ancillary products, working with financial planning & commercial peers to produce budget, reforecasts and 3 year plans.
  • Support the timely rectification of any commercial or operational issues during the day-to-day running of the business and commercial relationships.
  • Deliver good customer outcomes, including completion of annual product review & value assessment.
Requirements:
  • Experience across Commercial, Compliance and Governance elements.
  • Direct experience in managing relationships with ancillary suppliers.
  • Exposure to the Insurance industry, with an understanding of claims processes, terminology and metrics.
  • Strong understanding of FCA regulations.
  • Confident performance led negotiators with the ability to push back with suppliers during difficult negotiations.
