About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Midwife Sonographer to join our maternity team at University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality scanning services to support the Saving Babies Lives initiative.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Obstetric Ultrasound and have a period of consolidation. You will support the redelivery of clinical care in relation to national drivers in Ultrasound (Saving Babies Lives V3) and be competent to perform Uterine Arterial Doppler (UtAD) assessments on eligible women.

Person Specification

We are looking for a Registered Midwife with current registration, a Postgraduate Certificate in Obstetric Ultrasound, and a Mentorship or equivalent qualification. You will also have a Degree in a relevant health-related subject and be able to lead and initiate change. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to organise and prioritise workload.
