As an IT Support Apprentice, you will work closely with our experienced team and contribute to our mission of empowering educational institutions. You will have the chance to work towards your IT Support level 3 qualification, delivered by our expert training team.
About the Apprenticeship- You will respond to remote helpdesk requests and provide timely technical support.
- Take helpdesk calls, log and track calls, and ensure all issues are properly recorded and resolved.
- Perform hardware and software repairs in our well-equipped workshop facility.
- Assist with the installation of hardware and software, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
- Carry out network documentation and reporting to maintain accurate records.
- Assist with sourcing IT equipment and software to support ongoing projects.
- Participate in on-site visits to educational institutions, providing technical assistance and troubleshooting as needed.
- An annual salary of £12,500 during the apprenticeship period.
- The role requires a 37.5-hour workweek from Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm.
- We offer a mileage allowance of 45p per mile for travel beyond your standard home-to-office commute.
- You will receive 23 days of holiday time to relax and unwind.

- Desirable experience in hardware repair and troubleshooting.
- Good communication skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively within a team and exercise personal initiative.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
- While not essential, workplace experience or exposure to hardware and software support would be advantageous.
- Excellent customer service skills, allowing for effective and empathetic communication with end-users.
