Supporting People with Learning Disabilities

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Oxfordshire. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with learning disabilities.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to build strong relationships with service users, and demonstrate a commitment to promoting their independence and well-being.

About the Role:

  • You will work alongside our experienced team to provide person-centred support, enabling individuals to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.
  • You will assist with daily tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and accessing community resources.
  • You will also help individuals to develop new skills, build confidence, and participate in leisure activities.
  • A full driving licence is desirable for this role.

About You:

  • You will have a passion for working with people with learning disabilities and a desire to make a positive difference in their lives.
  • You will be flexible, reliable, and able to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • You will possess excellent communication skills and be able to work collaboratively as part of a team.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £18.50 per hour, rising to £20.50 per hour (base rate £16.00 + holiday pay), from 1st October 2024.
