Job Title: Sales Development Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Development Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies, building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with External Business Development Managers to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to maximise revenue.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key customer accounts to identify areas for mutual profitable growth.
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities and convert them into profitable sales.
  • Plan, forecast, and report on sales activities, measuring against KPIs.
  • Develop relationships with all internal departments and stakeholders to work collaboratively.
  • Generate quotes, provide lead time estimates, and follow up on them.
  • Handle general inquiries and ensure a high level of customer service.

Requirements:

  • Proven selling skills and the ability to close sales effectively.
  • Strong organisational and planning abilities, with the capacity to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication skills across multiple channels.
  • A problem solver who takes ownership of enquiries and challenges.
  • Self-motivated and driven with an outstanding attendance record.
  • Proficiency in IT, with a working knowledge of MS Office being desirable.
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
