About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Healthcare Assistant/Support Worker to join our team at Claimont Health LTD. As a Complex Care Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our clients with complex health needs in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing personal care and support to clients with complex needs, including medication management, ventilation management, and oral suctioning.
  • Assisting clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Supporting clients with communication and social interaction, including using augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) methods.
  • Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Providing emotional support and companionship to clients and their families.

Requirements

  • 1 year or more experience as a Healthcare Assistant/Support Worker with complex care experience.
  • NVQ Level 3 related subjects or equivalent.
  • NVQ Level 4 related subjects or equivalent.
  • Nursery nurse qualifications or similar.
  • Diploma in relevant health/social subject.
  • Commitment to delivering client-specific care.
  • Adaptable and professional approach to support client and family members.
