Job Description
As an Activity Programme Manager, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality activity and excursion programme, ensuring integration of language learning with the social program. Key responsibilities include promoting the activity programme enthusiastically, attending an on-site staff induction, preparing and planning activities and excursions in advance, leading and delivering activities and excursions, completing risk assessments, implementing Health & Safety standards/procedures, and supervising students during mealtimes, breaks, and free time. You will also take registers for all activities, excursions, and mealtimes, attend all excursions, activities, and staff meetings, and participate in weekly activity leader development sessions and formal/informal observations of activity sessions/walking tours.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need a sports coaching qualification, a lifeguarding license (desirable but not essential), experience of supervising/coaching minors, safeguarding training, experience of working in a multi-cultural environment, customer service experience, and the ability to speak a second language.
Location and Contract
This is a 0-hour fixed-term contract, and you will be required to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays. The location is Eastbourne.
