Job Description:

The role of the Practice Education Facilitator at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust involves promoting the vision and values of the organisation. This includes leading by example, demonstrating leadership behaviours, and supporting teams in delivering high-quality services.

The successful candidate will work with the integrated education team to assess the quality of clinical and practice learning environments. They will identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance practice education.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site support, education input, and developmental activities to staff, mentors, and learners.
  • Develop, coordinate, evaluate, and implement education programmes with providers.
  • Conduct research and lead audits to ensure best practices are implemented.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Essential: Registered Nurse/Professional with active registration and a proven track record in their area of specialist knowledge.
  • Desirable: Project management or Quality improvement qualification and experience within the NHS or relevant healthcare organisation.

Key Skills:

  • Leadership skills that demonstrate ability to manage self and lead others, motivate, educate, and inspire a team.
  • Presentation skills to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum depending on experience.
