We are a leading provider of mental health services, dedicated to delivering high-quality care to children and families. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Systemic Family Practitioner Trainee.

Job Summary

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to work in a paid full-time training role as a Systemic Family Practitioner. You will be part of our team, working closely with experienced professionals to develop your skills and knowledge in evidence-based interventions.

Main Responsibilities

As a Systemic Family Practitioner Trainee, you will be responsible for providing low-intensity interventions for anxiety, depression, and conduct problems, including guided self-help. You will work closely with children and families, using a systemic approach to address their mental health needs.

About the Role

This is a 12-month full-time training course, provided by a leading mental health organization in partnership with a prestigious university. You will study in person for one or two days per week, and the rest of the working week will be based in-service, using the skills gained during the training.

Person Specification

We are looking for an individual with a qualification in Clinical/Educational Psychology, Social Work, Psychiatry, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, or a related field. You should have experience of supporting children and young people with their mental health and wellbeing. You must be willing to undertake an intensive training course and demonstrate the aptitude to study at Level 7.
