About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our Estates department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities, ensuring that they are safe, efficient, and compliant with all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance staff, ensuring that tasks are completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales.
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules, taking into account the needs of the organization and the availability of resources.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and prioritize maintenance needs, ensuring that the organization's goals and objectives are met.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance staff, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external contractors and suppliers, ensuring that they meet the organization's standards and expectations.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a maintenance or facilities management role, with a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and duties.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures, with the ability to ensure compliance in all aspects of maintenance work.
