Job Description

The Presbyterian Church in Ireland is seeking a skilled Care Assistant to provide exceptional care to our residents. In this role, you will work closely with our Home Manager and other staff members to ensure the highest standards of care.

Responsibilities:

  • Care for residents' daily needs, including personal care tasks
  • Support residents to maintain independence and engage in activities
  • Transport residents to appointments and participate in outings
  • Manage medication administration after receiving necessary training
  • Record and report on resident care and progress

We require an individual with strong interpersonal skills, who can work effectively in a team environment. A good understanding of health and safety practices, and ability to communicate in English, are essential.

Benefits include a salary range of £11.63-£11.73 per hour, dependent on qualifications, plus benefits such as a discount card, free uniform, and enhanced annual leave.
