The Presbyterian Church in Ireland is a leading provider of care services, dedicated to promoting the well-being and dignity of older adults. We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our team.
**Estimated Salary:** £24,000 - £28,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
**Job Description**
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to residents, ensuring their physical, social, emotional, and spiritual needs are met. This includes:
- Assessing and responding to residents' care needs
- Developing and implementing individualized care plans
- Providing emotional support and companionship to residents
- Maintaining accurate records and reports
**Required Skills and Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of NVQ/QCF Level 2 Award in Health and Social Care
- Knowledge and experience of care planning and delivery
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings
