The Cheam School is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of Head of Drama. This position requires someone who can lead and deliver high-quality drama education to students in Years 3-6, while also being responsible for the organisation and production of plays from Years 4-8.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Curriculum Delivery: Designing and delivering engaging drama curriculum for students in Years 3-6.
  • Theatre Productions: Coordinating and producing plays for Junior and Senior years, ensuring that performances are of the highest standard.
  • Teacher Coordination: Working closely with visiting LAMDA teachers to ensure smooth delivery of lessons.
  • Drama Development: Inspiring a passion for drama beyond the curriculum, through innovative teaching methods and practices.

We are looking for an exceptional candidate who can instil a sense of curiosity in our pupils, while possessing excellent organisational, prioritisation, and communication skills. The successful applicant will be expected to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a strong commitment to providing a world-class education.

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including opportunities for professional development and a supportive working environment.
