Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Manager to lead our team in Peterborough. As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our service, achieving quality excellence, and promoting the wellbeing of our team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Enable individuals to lead fulfilling lives and maximize their independence.
- Ensure the wellbeing of the team is prioritized, and they are given the appropriate tools and opportunities to excel in their current role and future career.
- Ensure the service is run in an efficient and responsible manner, balancing the achievement of budget with the ethos of excellent quality.
- Effectively manage financial performance, with financial resources appropriately managed and controlled.
- Promote quality assurance, working towards legal, clinical, statutory, and organizational obligations, to develop effective work strategies and processes.
- Ensure full and accurate reporting of management information, maximizing quality and compliance.
- The role requires you to be registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
Requirements
- Have plenty of experience working with individuals with learning disabilities or complex behaviors.
- Be a Deputy Manager ready for the next step, or an experienced Service Manager looking for a new challenge – with a background in Supported Living or Residential Services.
- Have a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care – support and training towards Level 4 and 5 is available. RNLD/RMN is desirable.
- Bring strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Be confident, flexible, and efficient – you're happy to work on a shift basis and, where required, be on call.
- Above all, you'll be committed to providing person-centered care that provides equitable opportunities to all of those you're working for.
