Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Health Manager to join our newly created Occupational Health Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a clinical caseload of staff and patients, providing care and support within Occupational Health Services.

Main Duties of the Job

Using advanced practice, you will manage a clinical caseload of staff and patients, providing care and support within Occupational Health Services. You will demonstrate highly developed and advanced specialist knowledge and skills through innovative practice, leading to training provision and manager support that ensures the effective and efficient use of resources.

East of England Ambulance Service Trust provides 24 hour, 365 days a year accident and emergency services to those in need of emergency medical treatment and transport in Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Essex, Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire. We offer non-emergency patient transport services in parts of our region, helping patients who need non-emergency transport to and from hospital, treatment centres and other similar facilities.

Detailed Job Description and Main Responsibilities

You will manage a caseload of staff as patients, contributing to the development of the team and service improvements. You will work closely with our team to ensure the effective and efficient use of resources, providing expert advice and guidance to support the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.

Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with a clinical degree and relevant postgraduate qualification or equivalent experience. Essential criteria include expert knowledge of patient assessment/triage, managed a caseload, experience of leadership, experience of providing expert advice, and experience of delivering training. Desirable criteria include experience of delivering a vaccination programme.
