Employer Engagement Officer

Bradford College is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Employer Engagement Officer to join our Apprenticeships and Business Development team. As an Employer Engagement Officer, you will play a key role in building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders, particularly employers, to maximize the college's employer-facing activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate income from apprenticeships across various curriculum areas.
  • Collaborate with Business Development Officers to provide a high-quality experience for employer partners.
  • Sourcing, vetting, and passing on apprenticeship vacancies for Business Development Officers to fill with their candidate pool.
  • Proactively generate new business leads, respond to enquiries, and manage relationships with existing employers.
  • Represent the college at external meetings and events.
  • Conduct employer training needs analysis, develop training plans, and produce proposals in partnership with curriculum colleagues.
  • Work with the Projects Team to identify and write bids and proposals for new business opportunities.
  • Present the college's apprenticeship offer at external events, including employer boards and external networks.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders involved in the Skills Agenda, including the Local Authority and Chamber for Business.
  • Assist the Head of Department in developing sales, marketing, and business development plans.
  • Work closely with curriculum areas to ensure the development and delivery of training packages to meet employers' needs.
