About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Account Handler to join our team at Brown & Brown. As a Senior Account Handler, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and providing exceptional customer service to ensure their needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with renewals, new business quotations, and managing relationships with key stakeholders.
- Develop a pipeline of referrals from existing clients to obtain new business.
- Work with clients to expand and develop their coverage to ensure they have the right cover.
- Liaise with senior brokers, account executives, and management teams to ensure all documentation is accurate and within prescribed timescales.
- Negotiate with Underwriters as required to secure the best terms.
- Work in a compliant and timely manner on all cases.
- Ensure retention levels and income targets are achieved.
- Work with the management team to achieve business objectives and support the development of colleagues.
Requirements:
- A solid grounding across the range of Commercial and Corporate Insurance market.
- Exposure to dealing with clients at all levels and product lines from £2,000 to £500,000.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficient in using Word, Excel, and wider broking platforms (Open GI / Acturis).
- Confident in dealing with stakeholders at all levels and have a wider skill set that includes sales and IT skills.
- Ideal candidate will be qualified to Cert CII Level.
