We are seeking an experienced Account Handler to join our team at MW Appointments, a leading recruitment agency in the insurance sector. As an Account Handler, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support functions to our clients in the Marine and Energy Division.
Key Responsibilities:- Produce and process pre-inception and post-placement documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Review documents at key stages to ensure compliance with internal procedures.
- Quoting, Placement, and Post Contract Alterations.
- Analyze and provide advice on risk and insurance issues.
- Structure appropriate coverage for the insured's operations, exposure, and risk.
- Produce market presentations to secure best possible terms for the client.
- Negotiate and obtain the most appropriate carrier, coverage, and price for the clients' requirements.
- Resolve subjectivities and warranties in accordance with client/wholesale broker/insurer instructions.
- Experience in a similar broker support or Account Handler role within the Lloyd's market.
- Marine and Energy experience and knowledge.
- Permanent role.
- Hybrid flexible working arrangement, with 3 days in the City and 2 days working from home.
- Salary up to £60,000.
