About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Oncology Department at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will provide expert care and support to patients with cancer, working closely with consultants, medical and nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of patients with cancer, providing information and support to enable them to make informed choices about their care.
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans for patients.
  • Provide education and support to patients, their families, and carers to help them understand their condition and treatment options.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and communication.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and policies to improve patient care.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse on the appropriate part of the NMC Register.
  • Post-registration qualification relevant to the speciality.
  • Significant post-registration experience, including some in a position relevant to the speciality.
  • Ability to perform clinical skills relevant to the speciality.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
