Barclay Meade is seeking a skilled Procurement Professional to join our team in Weybridge. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for ensuring category strategy is aligned and deployed alongside group procurement policy and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Initiate and execute supplier RFx processes to drive best cost sourcing outcomes
- Lead supplier negotiations to secure optimal pricing and terms
- Develop and maintain contingency plans to mitigate supply chain disruptions
- Manage supplier performance and relationships to ensure quality and delivery standards are met
- Provide weekly reports to the Procurement Head of Group on key procurement projects
- Proven experience as a Procurement Professional with a strong understanding of ERP systems
- Excellent computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Understanding of MRP systems and their practical applications
