Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled National Account Manager to join our team in the UK. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for managing our relationship with Booker and developing our commercial strategy to drive growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive account plan to drive volume growth, improve profitability, and increase market share.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including Booker, to understand their business needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including category, shopper marketing, and supply chain, to ensure alignment and effective execution of commercial strategies.
  • Provide market insights and analysis to inform business decisions and drive growth.
  • Negotiate and agree commercial terms, including pricing, promotions, and distribution agreements.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of the account, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the UK coffee and tea market, including trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activity.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the FMCG industry, with a strong track record of delivering commercial growth and profitability.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive business decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Degree educated, preferably in a business-related field.
