About the Role:

We are a leading provider of supported living services, seeking an experienced support worker to join our team. As a support worker, you will play a vital role in supporting an individual with autism and epilepsy to live independently in their own home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to the individual, including assistance with daily living tasks and medication management.
  • Support the individual to engage in activities and hobbies that promote their physical and mental well-being.
  • Assist the individual to access community resources and services, including healthcare and social activities.
  • Work collaboratively with the individual's family and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive support package.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the individual's care plan.

Requirements:

  • At least 6 months' experience in the care sector, supporting individuals with autism and epilepsy.
  • Valid UK driving license and business insurance.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
