About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced People Services Specialist to join our team at Liberty Global Shared Services Limited. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional employee services and support to our employees, managers, and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, consistent, and compliant employee services and support to all employees, managers, and external parties.
  • Resolve day-to-day employee and manager service inquiries, issues, and complaints, identifying and escalating any issues and incidents as necessary.
  • Support managers and employees with generalist people support, including absence, performance management, and misconduct guidance.
  • Ensure accurate and timely entry of employee data into associated employee services systems, meeting agreed standards and targets.
  • Create and maintain documents, records, and data in accordance with agreed procedures and standards.
  • Ensure the contact management system accurately reflects the nature of each query to maintain high levels of employee satisfaction.
  • Action workflow requests in a timely and consistent manner.
  • Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of work.
  • Ensure all corporate policies, standards, and agreed people services processes are understood by employees and the people team, rectifying any non-conformances and making approved amendments as necessary.
  • Engage employees and managers with the right guidance, signposting them and walking them through relevant templates, materials, etc., to increase their understanding and capability to self-serve.
  • Understand the needs of employees, managers, and the people team (internal and external) and continuously seek to improve people services.

Requirements

  • Minimum L3 CIPD qualification.
  • Understanding of the HR employee lifecycle.
  • Interest in employment law, its application, and best practice.
  • Strong telephone and email communication skills, capable of delivering advice, guidance, and managing challenging conversations over the phone at pace.
  • Experience in providing relevant advice on policy and process to managers and employees is desirable.
