Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive key performance indicators across your area, including area income, expenditure budgets, processing targets, average selling price, sell-through rates, fundraising, and customer service.
  • Oversee the commercial running of your area and make commercial decisions based on data.
  • Stay aware of trends on the high street and amongst charity retailers, applying this knowledge to your area.
  • Support your teams in areas such as recruitment, development, retention, performance management, equality and diversity, and fundraising.
  • Ensure shop standards are met regarding displays and merchandising, stock management, and store layouts.
  • Implement national volunteer recruitment campaigns and support other divisional and national projects.

Requirements:

  • An inspiring manager with experience leading a diverse team, particularly one that's geographically spread.
  • Comfort working within targets and motivating others to achieve those targets.
  • Commercial awareness with excellent business judgment.
  • The ability to build networks and work collaboratively.
  • Adaptability in changing situations, including working effectively independently.
  • Experience leading a diverse retail team across multiple sites.
