The Opportunity:

As our Business Growth Director, you will be responsible for running, growing, and managing all aspects of Retail Insights. You will lead a world-class team, ensuring the successful execution of our conference and strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, build, and develop a high-performing team
  • Become an ecosystem builder, delivering outstanding products
  • Establish clear expectations, set goals, and provide ongoing feedback and performance evaluations
  • Execute our strategy at a rapid pace
  • Develop our brand as the go-to place for inspiration, knowledge, and networking
  • Oversee conference planning, execution, and completion within designated timelines and budget constraints
  • Assign tasks to team members, monitor progress, and ensure project objectives are achieved
  • Identify opportunities to expand business with existing clients and collaborate with business development teams for new client acquisition

Requirements:

  • +4 years' experience from an institution with high speed and work ethic (e.g., management consulting, investment banking, top-tier corporate or start-up)
  • Bachelor's degree with outstanding results, possibly followed by an MBA
  • Strong commercial awareness and a passion for business
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of delivering results
  • UK, EU, or US work permit
