About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Staff Nurse to join our CHAS at Home team, providing high-quality nursing care to children and their families in their community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead assessment, planning, organisation, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care for children, young people, and families.
  • Take responsibility for leading and managing a team of nurses, promoting effective teamwork and collaboration to meet the needs of children, young people, and families.
  • Work closely with Senior Charge Nurses to develop and implement nursing strategies and policies that support the delivery of high-quality care.
  • Provide expert nursing care to children and their families, prioritising their physical, emotional, and social needs.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with families, carers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.

About You

We are looking for a highly experienced and motivated Senior Staff Nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality care to children and their families. You will have a proven track record of leadership and management, with experience of working in a children's palliative care setting.

You will be a registered nurse with a valid UK NMC pin, and will have a strong understanding of the principles of family-centred care. You will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
