Spire Healthcare Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, patients, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective health and safety policies and procedures to minimize risks and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and provide guidance to departments on health and safety matters.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement health and safety training programs.
  • Monitor and report on health and safety performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Provide expert advice on health and safety matters to employees, managers, and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Good standard of secondary education with demonstrable literacy and numeracy skills.
  • IOSH Managing Safely / IOSH Working Safely course.
  • NEBOSH Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (or the willingness to undertake qualification).
  • Previous experience working in the healthcare industry or a similar customer-orientated organization.
  • Track record of successful people and process management, ideally in a multi-functional environment.
  • Understanding of Health & Safety and risk issues and legislation in a healthcare organization.
