Health and Safety Manager Opportunity
Aldwych Consulting is seeking a dedicated Health and Safety Manager to join their team based near Portsmouth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the company and its employees adhere to safety standards, with duties including creating and implementing organisational safety guidelines, promoting a culture of safety in the workplace, and performing regular site inspections to check compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Producing and modifying RAMS
- Performing a daily site walkabout to ensure operations are adhering to health and safety standards
- Managing a small team of Health and Safety advisors
- Reviewing all work procedures and ensuring they meet industry safety standards
- Preparing and filing reports for accidents and other safety breaches
- Staying up to date with health, safety, and environment regulations
- Ensuring safe installation of equipment and overseeing subcontractors on a day-to-day basis
- Conducting training sessions on health and safety awareness with the internal team

Requirements:
- A degree or certificate in Health and Safety
- NEBOSH in construction
- IOSH or grad IOSH
