Role Overview

Esland is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Residential Support Worker to join our team based in Weldon. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people in our residential setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans, ensuring the needs of each young person are met.
  • Form effective relationships with young people, their families, and external agencies to ensure seamless support and care.
  • Maintain a safe and clean living environment, adhering to our cleaning rota system and encouraging young people to participate.
  • Ensure accurate and timely record-keeping, with supervision and guidance from shift managers and senior staff.
  • Contribute to the educational and social development of each young person, assisting in the implementation of Individual Education Programs.
  • Meet the emotional and physical needs of our young people, maximizing opportunities for their growth and development.
Requirements
  • Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent (desirable) or a willingness to undertake this qualification.
  • Experience in a children's home setting (desirable).
  • Passion for helping young people thrive.
  • Flexibility to work 24-48 hour shift patterns, including sleep-ins, with a rota provided in advance.
  • Full UK driving license (essential).
  • Age 21 or above, meeting industry regulations.
