About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Residential Support Worker to join our team at Esland, a leading provider of specialist services for children and young people. As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, helping them to achieve their full potential and reach their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, risk assessments, and individualized education programs.
  • Build effective relationships with residents, their families, and external agencies to ensure seamless support and coordination.
  • Ensure the home is maintained in a clean and tidy condition, adhering to cleaning rota systems and encouraging resident participation.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records, with supervision and guidance from senior staff.
  • Deliver high-quality residential care, adhering to Esland's standards and Ofsted requirements.
  • Support the educational and social development of each resident, assisting in the implementation of individualized education programs.
What We're Looking For
  • A Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People or equivalent, with a willingness to undergo further qualifications.
  • Experience in a children's home setting, preferably with a focus on therapeutic and complex needs.
  • A passion for supporting young people and helping them achieve their potential.
  • Flexibility to work varied shift patterns, including sleep-ins, with a rota provided in advance.
  • A valid UK driving license, essential for transportation and errands.
  • Age 21+, as per industry regulations.
