About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Waking Night Support Worker to join our team at Potens. As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will play a vital role in promoting independence and supporting individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs in a residential setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one support to individuals, promoting their independence and autonomy.
  • Maintain a high level of support, responding to the unique needs of each individual.
  • Assist with personal care and daily living tasks.
  • Engage with individuals in a supportive and non-judgmental manner, promoting their interests and preferences.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a seamless and effective support service.

Requirements:

  • Passion for supporting individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to work varied shifts, including nights.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Driver's license (desirable).
