Job Title: Waking Night Support Worker

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Waking Night Support Worker to join our team at Potens. As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support individuals on a 1-1 basis, promoting independence and encouraging them to make their own decisions.
  • Maintain a high level of support that meets the individual's needs, including personal care and routine checks.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
  • Participate in and contribute to the development of individual care plans.
  • Support individuals to engage in activities that promote their physical and emotional well-being.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection policies.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends.
