About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Support Worker to join our team at Potens. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in promoting independence and encouraging the people we support to access the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support individuals on a 1-1 basis to promote independence and access community resources.
  • Maintain a high level of support to meet the service needs of the individuals we support.
  • Provide personal care and support as required.
  • Participate in and be enthusiastic about the interests and preferences of the individuals we support.
  • Work within a residential setting with adults who may have learning disabilities and complex needs.

Requirements

  • A passion for supporting others and making a positive difference in their lives.
  • Flexibility to work varying shift patterns, including 12/13 hour shifts, and be willing to pick up waking nights/sleeps as required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Driver preferred.
