Job Title: Behaviour Intervention Assistant

We are seeking a Behaviour Intervention Assistant to work in primary schools across Didsbury, South Manchester. This is a long-term opportunity with a view to go permanent for the right candidate.

About the Role

This position involves working closely with class teachers and other support staff to provide guidance and support to students who require additional support due to behavioural challenges. You will be responsible for supporting students on a 1-2-1 basis and in small groups, ensuring they are motivated, happy, and engaged in their school life.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing individualised support to students to help them overcome behavioural challenges
  • Working collaboratively with teaching staff to develop and implement behaviour plans
  • Supporting students in developing social skills and emotional regulation techniques
Requirements and Benefits
